Lachesis

Lachesis is derived from the venom of the bushmaster snake.

Treatment Use

Lachesis is useful when any of the following are indicated:

Mental and emotional aspects

• Hypersensitivity
• Talkative, rambling, self-absorbed nature
• Restlessness
• Fixed ideas
• Suppression of anger
• Nightmares
• Irritability
• Anger after the break-up of relationships
• Addictions, including alcohol, tobacco and drugs
• Premenstrual syndrome
• Panic attacks.

Physical aspects

• Headaches, particularly on waking
• Puffy, bloated or swollen face
• Stomach ache when craving stimulants
• Constrictive sore throats
• Asthma
• Angina pain
• Palpitations and tightness or constriction of the chest
• Hot flushes
• Phlebitis and thrombosis
• Menopausal problems.

Modalities

• Better: in the open air; for eating and cool drinks.
• Worse: when trying to sleep; for touch; for tight clothing.

Treatment Tips

Excellent for all circulatory problems. Also good for extreme stress when accompanied with pains and tightness in the chest.
